The beauty industry has developed an ethical code of practice. this enable everyone to work in a safe and hygienic environment. Things to bear in mind, and to put into practice  when working in a salon are;

1. Wear flat shoes with closed toes.
2. Long hair should put tied out of the way.
3. Therapists should appear clean and tidy.
4. Always wash equipment before sterilising.
5. Clean all spillages immediately.
6. No smoking.
7. Act and behave like a professional to staff and clients.
