Nail extensions are removed using acetone which dissolves the acrylic nails.

Nail extensions are cut down with tip cutters and any polish is removed. Fingertips are submerged in small metal bowls containing warmed acetone and nut oil. The hands are covered with towels. Nails are left to soak uninterrupted for 20 minutes. After this time, the hands are removed and product is taken off with a cuticle stick. Hands are washed, and a mini manicure is performed to ensure the hands are in a good, moisturised condition. Then, a new set of extensions is applied or make an appointment to return for a full manicure. Nail extension removals take about 1 hour.
